LIFE GROUPS
Our entire ministry at Sweetwater is about leading people to faith in Jesus Christ, and that is exactly what occurs in our Life Groups. They are both practical and Bible based for encountering life change. They provide a comfortable and safe place for everyone to experience support, healing, growth, and friendship. LG’s meet in homes on Sunday evenings from 5:00-7:00pm for 8-12 week sessions at a time.
We also periodically offer Work Groups that are designed to serve the North Manchester community. Work Groups meet many needs in our neighborhoods, such as raking leaves, painting, mowing grass, pulling weeds, cleaning gutters, trimming trees and bushes and planting flowers. WG’s also meet on Sunday evenings from 5:00-7:00pm for sessions of 4-12 weeks.
SWEETWATER WOMEN
Sweetwater Women provides opportunities for women of all ages to connect with each other and to be encouraged and inspired through fellowship, laughter and times of Spiritual renewal. These opportunities include gathering in homes, Aroma prayer times, Bible & book studies, several annual get-a-ways, meals together and so much more! Throughout the year, Sweetwater men join together for times of devotion, prayer, fellowship and eating!
YOUNG @ HEART
Young @ Heart is for, well...young at hearts! It's for the 50 years and over individuals who enjoy connecting with each other and having lots of fun together. They gather frequently throughout the year for outings, fellowship and entertainment.
HONEYMOONERS
Honeymooners are our "younger" married couples connecting on a regular basis to encourage and support each other. They often get together for great times of euchre, camping, cook outs, dinners, and other outings throughout the year.
KIDZ ZONE
At Sweetwater, we think that church is FUN and so do our kids! It is our desire to provide kid's programs which are safe, exciting and enjoyable times where kids meet Jesus, find out who He is and how much He loves them. ELEVATE YOUTH MINISTRY
Elevate Youth Ministry is about teenagers in 7th - 12th grade encountering the one, true God in worship, through the Word and in payer. We desire to equip teenagers to take the light of Jesus into the darkness to make a difference in their worlds. MISSIONS (this section is being updated)
We believe we are called to share the love of God to our city, nation and to the ends of the earth. Missions takes the gospel of Jesus and the Kingdom of God to the entire world. Sweetwater currently helps support 26 different mission efforts across the world, across our nation, as well as right here in Wabash County. We have several avenues of giving to missions. One is simply Sweetwater’s monthly Missions giving program. Another is Speed the Light (STL)…our Elevate Youth Ministry missions program. One more avenue is Boys and Girls Missionary Challenge (BGMC)…our Kidz Zone missions program.
